Day 1: Comox

Well, we got off to an auspicious start. We were still in the mean streets of Vancouver when we encountered our first bear. Somebody had left the garbage out and the bear was having a snack this morning. I know it looks like I’m really close to the bear, but I did have my zoom on although in fairness it was just at the end of Suneet‘s driveway.

Took the ferry from Horseshoe Bay and then a drive up to Comox. Met Rob and Will, our two guides. Dale is here. We sorted out the bikes. The rest of the guys are coming in later. Tomorrow we start to ride!!!
