View of mist over Guagua Pichincha

Gorgeous day!!

We got dropped off by Nelson, our driver, and then 4×4 up towards Guagua. The team climbed to the summit of Guagua Pichincha – I took a left (as bugs bunny would say – at Albuquerque) and imagined myself as Jimmy Chin- hence the photos of team ascending/descending.

Overall great day of hiking –

Ascent 687m

Distance 6.14 km

Summit 4741m

Dinner tonight and then tomorrow we go into Cayambe – and will lose our wifi connection until Monday very late.

Agenda in Cayambe is glacier practice, roping, crampons etc. Sunday into Monday around midnight we will attempt Cayambe.
