Day 6: bears, bees, bags and bumps

Distance: 83.8 km
Ascent: 1376 m
Max speed: will no longer be reported

We got talking about making s’mores tonight over the fire, Will said we need widdle sticks, to which Dale responded – they make them….. in the woods….

Long day of riding. Hot bluebird day. Farid had a bee encounter (stung), we all had a gorgeous bear encounter, and we rode over very technical bumpy terrain the first 60% of the ride. Some gnarly ascents with large loose chunky rock. And stunning scenery.

Over the rides these past few days we’ve had some pannier issues so the goal today for all of you is to match the bag to the rider!

Seven bicycle panniers displayed side by side, each labeled with a participant name and marked with different colored straps or folding patterns for a matching game challenge.
